Although Tour Britannia had ventured fleetingly into Wales on a previous occasion, it was decided that a full-blown visit was long overdue and to gain access to this hotbed of rallying enthusiasm, another former base of Britain’s premier rally was chosen as the Tour’s HQ in 2010 – Chester. 

Fortis Watches continued to sponsor the event and the Tour welcomed both the support of local firm CES UK – one of the country’s leading motor factors and car parts distributors – and their boss Howard Warren as a competitor.
